What method is used to estimage the percentage of loss for your flooring?

For all materials, it is essential to consider its size. Loss rates are lower for smaller-sized floor coverings.

Several other factors may influence the loss rate (installer, position of the walls, angles).

The following percentagse are just suggestions. For ceramic tiles, it is best to calculate the total area. 

 Ceramic tiles: 
 12x24 or less: between 5% and 10% loss
 24x24 and 18x36 : between 10% and 15% loss
 24x48 or more: between 15% and 20% loss
 
 Wood, laminate, cork and vinyl boards: 
 Board width 4 ¼ + - : between 3% and 5% loss
 Board width 5 + - : between 5% and 10% loss
 
 Wall coverings: 
 Stone and thin bricks: between 5% and 10% loss
 Concret tiles or other large formats:  between 10 and 15% loss
